King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT) conducts placement tests for first-year undergraduate students with the following objectives:

• To use the data to create a development plan for English, Mathematics and Chemistry skills for incoming students until graduation, promoting continuous improvement in their English, Mathematics and Chemistry abilities.
• To analyze the results and provide feedback to the relevant departments or curricula, for the purpose of improving and developing the quality of teaching and learning.
• To establish an English proficiency baseline for incoming students and to place students in appropriate English courses.
• The placement test results will not affect students’ eligibility or right to study at King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi.
• In cases where students are unable to attend the scheduled test due to valid reasons, they must notify the Office of the Registrar.
